Emotions and Control on them.

Emotiona conscious mental reaction (such as anger or fear) subjectively experienced as strong feeling usually directed toward a specific object and typically accompanied by physiological and behavioral changes in the body- okay it’s gone too long. In short, Emotion are our feelings in a particular event and some examples are like happiness, anger, fear, sadness and exhilaration. We are going to have a short discussion on some of these emotions which are Anger, Sadness, Fear and Happiness and sometimes when these emotions get insurmountable, we’ll discuss about how to control them.

Anger, we all know anger is not good for health at all, but then even we perform it. Why? Why aren’t we able to control it? We can see everywhere that how anger destroyed various relationships. Anger can make you lose faith on that person who you should believe. Anger makes you like a Zombie where you’re eating a person without listening to them. The reason we can’t control it is just we don’t want to listen, we think that only we are correct, and if anyone try to contradict us, we attack on them by our anger.

So how to control it? First of all, controlling anger is really arduous. When we get angry, we become like a bat out of hell. So the steps which we are going to discuss here needs to be attached with you for a long time.

1) Do Meditation- Meditation is the most peaceful and powerful practice in the world. Researches had proved that by doing meditation one could become much serene. Doing meditation can make you control your anger though it would need some time. Doing Meditation once would give you just a short term harmony but practicing it regularly would give you a long term peace.

2) Overcome the Negative Bias- Negative Bias is a situation when a person starts getting negative thoughts about everything. Whatever they see, whatever they hear, even though it’s good, they take it on a negative side, and then the anger arises. What we should do is that we should replace positive thoughts from negative ones, I know it’s not easy but we have to try, try and try. Just have good thoughts in mind and put a happy smile on the face, and you’ll see how you overcome the negative Bias.

Being Sad- When do we get glum? It’s when we attempted some mistake, isn’t it? We all like short term happiness, if you like it too, it’s not your fault, it’s the human nature. This short term happiness fails us and then leaves us in depression. People love success but they don’t work for it, after getting failed once, they get in a gloomy mood. Success doesn’t come just by calling it, we got to have work for it.

Sadness just make us dejected from our life, don’t let it demoralize you because there are tons of opportunities and what we have to use is a 1.5 kilogram thing present in our head. We should learn from our mistakes rather than getting sad about them. Sadness is that emotion which is coming in our way of success, and to defeat it what we have to do is just a smile and accepting and improving the mistakes we did before and then we all know where we would be.

Fear, The play of Fear in our lives is like finding a treasure with many casualties in between the way, but if we overcome it, we get the result. So getting feared is not shoddy, it’s in the human nature, What do you think who is called as “brave”? Brave isn’t the one who has no fear, it’s the one who overcomes his/her fear. So what’s the role of attitude in this? See, you usually don’t want to get scared of anything, but as I said it’s somehow required, so here the role of change in attitude comes by accepting our fear and overcoming it.

I usually used to get feared of many things, not ghosts, but anything else like fear of doing any mistake which hurts my friends’ feelings, or fear of any mistake in the exam and all which is common, but as the time passed I learnt how to be better and today even I’m not good enough, there’re way far better people than me, but my fear has always been giving me the lessons, so remember the competition has been made by us, but our main competitor is just ourselves, and I know we’re not going to lose.

Happiness- It is indeed the most beautiful word in this whole world. Everyone wants it, many of them gets it too but some unlucky don’t. Why don’t they? What’s the problem? Let’s analyze this properly, let’s take a boy who has a father as a big businessman and his father is not able to give his son some of his time. Here’s a second boy whose father works in an insurance company and spends some of his time with his son. What do you think who’s happy? Of course the second one. It doesn’t mean you just have to get money for being happy, the Pursuit of happiness includes your satisfaction.

You have to chase happiness wherever it goes. Remember, BEING HAPPY is the biggest triumph you can ever achieve in life.
